Description

Before Charles Schulz "Peanuts" gang made the jump from comic strips to TV and movie screens, they showed up in 3-D form as a 1962 series of approximate 6" tall bobble head dolls. Grab a delightful fistful of Peanuts, with this complete 1962 bobble head set of (6). These shelf-sized icons are faithful renderings of the beloved Peanuts bunch, with Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Schroeder, Pig Pen, and of course Snoopy. All are formatted with matching black square bases, that bear decals of the characters names, along with the legend "Of The Peanuts Comic Strip". Condition is as follows:

Charlie Brown is nearly pristine with full base decal and a red foil Lego Japan sticker under the base (NM+);

Snoopy has two short hairline cracks on the back of the head, moderate wear around the head opening, a few surface paint chips on the base, and a Lego/United Features Syndicate stamp under the base (VG-EX);

Lucy has a 1" arc of chipping on the head opening under the left ear, a single hairline crack on the chin, and a fleck of surface paint loss on the left shoe; the underside has both the Lego foil sticker and the United Features stamp (VG);

Linus has a small spot of surface paint loss coming off the head opening below the right cheek, and a 1/4" surface chip on the base decal, otherwise he's very attractive, and has the Lego/United Features Syndicate stamp under the base (VG);

Schroeder is on par with Charlie Brown, right down to his fantastic Beethoven shirt decal, and he has the Lego/United Features Syndicate stamp under the base (NM);

Pig Pen is very attractive with the strongest gloss and paint detail of the bunch, and just the slightest touch of paint wear on the bottom left corner of the base; also has the Lego/United Features Syndicate stamp under the base (NM).
